Distinguished members of the European Healthy Longevity Nexus (EuHeLoN) took part in the first focus group of SAIFA — Serbian AI Factory Antenna, a project under the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme.

The discussion explored the breadth of AI applications in healthcare and their potential to advance healthy longevity, from prevention and early detection to personalised care and support for healthier, more independent lives.

Bringing together expertise across disciplines is essential to translating AI’s potential into meaningful benefits for people throughout their lives.

At an interdisciplinary gathering organised by the Albanian National Center for Healthy Longevity and hosted at Château Alehandro near Tirana, EuHeLoN explored how healthy longevity could become a national strategic priority. The discussion connected prevention, education, employment, financial resilience, tourism and age-friendly communities through Longevity Capital.

The next step is to translate this ambition into coordinated policies, practical initiatives and measurable outcomes with Albanian partners and the international longevity community.
